Dr Grzegorz Joachimiak (1984) – absolwent muzykologii na Uniwersytecie Wrocławskim (2009) oraz Wydziału Instrumentalnego na Akademii Muzycznej im. K. Lipińskiego we Wrocławiu (2010). W 2016 r. obronił pracę doktorską napisaną pod kierunkiem prof. dra hab. Remigiusza Pośpiecha: Rękopiśmienne tabulatury lutniowe z I połowy XVIII wieku ze zbiorów cystersów z Krzeszowa. Repertuar – praktyka wykonawcza – mecenat artystyczny. Pracuje w Instytucie Muzykologii Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego i Katedrze Muzyki Dawnej Akademii Muzycznej we Wrocławiu. W badaniach naukowych koncentruje się na problematyce źródłoznawstwa muzycznego, patronatu muzycznego oraz teorii i praktyce wykonastwa muzyki XVI-XIX wieku, zwłaszcza w zakresie muzyki lutniowej, gitarowej i kameralnej. Zajmuje się przede wszystkim badaniem obszaru kultury muzycznej Śląska i dawnej Rzeczpospolitej. Jest autorem ponad 30 publikacji naukowych, kierownikiem grantów badawczych (UWr) i wykonawcą m.in. w trzech grantach NPRH. Należy do grupy roboczej „Tablature in Western Music” działającej w ramach International Musicological Society oraz jest członkiem Towarzystw Lutniowych w Niemczech, USA, Austrii, Czechach i Polsce. Laureat nagrody im. ks. prof. H. Feichta (2017) i stypendiów, m.in. DAAD, Fundacji Lanckorońskich, trzykrotnie MNiSW w tym dla wybitnych młodych naukowców (2018-2022). Od maja 2019 wiceprzewodniczący Akademii Młodych Uczonych i Artystów.

G. Joachimiak, PhD (1984) – a graduate of musicology at the University of Wrocław (2009) and the Instrumental Department at the Karol Lipińskie Academy of Music in Wrocław (2010). In 2016, he defended his doctoral dissertation under the supervision of Professor Dr. Remigiusz Pośpiech on „The Handwritten Lute Tablatures from the First Half of 18th Century from the Collection of Krzeszów (Grüssau) Cistercians. Repertoire – Practice – Artistic Patronage”. He works in the Institute of Musicology at the University of Wrocław and in the Early Music Department at the Academy of Music in Wrocław. In research he focuses on the issues of musical source studies, musical patronage and the theory and performance practice of 16th-19th century music, in particular lute, guitar and ensemble music. He mainly researches the area of musical culture in Silesia and the former Poland. He is the author of over 30 scientific publications, head of research grants (university’s funds) and performer among others in three within of the National Programme for the Development of Humanities (The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland’s funds). He is a member of Study Group „Tablature in Western Music” of the International Musicological Society as well as of The Lute Societies in Germany, USA, Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland. Winner of the Professor Hieronim Feicht Award (2017) and scholarships, incl. DAAD, Lanckoroński Foundation and three times the Ministry of Science and Higher Education including for outstanding young scientists (2018-2022). Since May 2019, a vice-chairman of the Academy of Young Scholars and Artists.
